Equalizer preset for brighter audio

class="c"

Here's an EQ preset I made, I call it: The Jackknife. Feel free to use for whatever you want. After all, what am I going to do with it? Patent it?

This preset is particualy good for making the treble-like details of any song cut through pretty much anything below it.

Vocals become loud and clear.

Drums, no matter what kind produce a punchy kick.

Guitars & synths become satisfyingly crunchy.

You can hear tiny background details that are otherwise virtually inaudible suddenly become crystal clear upon enabling this preset.

On the other hand, the bassier parts of a song will still be loud and clear, but not as intrusive and thunderous as is so common with a flat EQ. It might even be safe to say that because the bass is no longer consuming the entire recording it sounds noticeably creamier than before! And good Lord does it sound good with monitor headphones!

The preset is as follows:

I have found that if the treble is too high, you may raise the 62Hz & 125Hz sliders until you see fit.

For a prime example of what this preset can do and if it's right for you, get a high quality copy of Radio People by Zapp and compare it with the original. Enjoy!
