Textureless Rainbow Road
I get bored frequently, and this was one time where a stupid idea came to me, and I decided to spend the time to make it a reality, however unwise that might be.
This is a mod for Mario Kart Wii that removes all the textures for Rainbow Road, which as anybody who has played any Mario Kart game knows, Rainbow road is one of the most difficult stages in the game, regardless of which version you are playing. I actually came up with this idea some time ago, but the original plan was to create this and load this hacked version of the game next time I went to a family get together, and of course not tell anyone that the game had been modified.
Of course, it's 2020 as I'm writing this and social gatherings don't seem to be happening for the forseeable future, so here it is in video form. I'm pretty sure most of my family doesn't know tihs site exists, so whatever :P
You may also notice there are some other changes to the track not related to making it a highway to hell. Those are other mods I happened to have on the SD card I was loading this mod from.
